The original plans that I was inspired from was for a simple 1200mm x 1200mm top. I changed that to 1200mm x 2700mm. This meant that the finished bench top was the weight of 3 full sheets of 12mm MDF. As a result you will need a hand to maneuver it into place. I struggled but managed to construct it alone, but the finished combined weight was a little too much.

Note:
As an after thought, I realised that if teh base frame was left uncovered, any dust and debris would collect underneath and on top of anything stored below. So I added some PVC curtains to help prevent this. Plans to follow.

After scrapping around for some space and a flat surface, I ended up going into work to use their space. So it was time to make some changes.

After hours of research on work benches, the style that I ended up on is a torsion box style. The plans for which will follow. The overall size for the work top is 48″ x 108″ with a thickness of 6″. All of these sizes are for a reason which will be explained in stage 2. After building the top, the weight of it had potentially become an issue, so the base structure needed to be able to support a great deal of weight. So when you look at the dimensions, it could be considered over kill, but I’d prefer it to be absolutely solid with a lot of weight on top of it.

Notice that there is a lot of spare to hide all that rubbish you don’t quite want to throw out yet.

As an active member of several Disney related forums, one of the topics that kept coming up was tipping the service staff. Or as the Forum calls it “MouseKeeping”. There was an elaborate way of creating Gratuity envelopes discussed, but I just felt that some of the ideas were over complicated. So I developed my own.

The plan that I used was a simple envelope that is slightly larger than a Dollar bill. So if you print out the attached file, make sure that you do not scale the image down. When I went last I stayed in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. So the theme design I used was Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I even added the hotel logo where a stamp would usually go. As I’ve released this for free download, the logo has been removed, but the designs are pretty much the original set.

The concept was an animal print on one side with the animal in its environment on the other.

If you are going to make these in the same way that I did, I used double-sided tape and trimmed through it (see photo below).

There are 7 designs plus 1 blank plan for your use. I hope you enjoy them.

Waking up and having a huge stack of extremely fluffy warm pancakes, with two pints of maple syrup drizzled through them. I say through them as it seems to just soak straight in.

In the UK, I had bought the shake and bake style mixture before and it came close to the mix I was looking for. When I had been shopping in Florida, again it was a shake and bake style mix. Surely you can make them easily in the kitchen. I had set a mission to find the ultimate recipe for them. How do they make them so light and fluffy?

The recipe I have attached is designed for UK cooking. All ingredients are easily available and measurements are in grams and milli-litres. Without question, I believe this to be the ultimate recipe for the breakfast pancakes. If you believe you have a better recipe let me know.

Originally the site was a showcase to all my web creations. Yes I was (and still am) a website developer, creator, designer or any other tag you think is suitable.

This version of ALPOP is to try and create a website to showcase a wider variety of products and projects. There will be some websites (probably), but also projects that are more than simply digital entities. You’ll get the idea when the site gets filled up.

Some of the items I’ve created since ALPOP v1.

1 x Disney Web Links Directory

2 x Daughters

1 x iPhone App

1 x Podcast

3 x Disney fansites

5 x Twitter Accounts

I’ll finish up this post with a screen capture of the old site. Thanks for your time.
